For many women in aviation, she’s long been proof that skill and confidence belong in every cockpit.

In 2025, she made her final performance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, retiring from airshow flying at age 74. It marked the close of an extraordinary chapter in aviation, and this week’s episode is a small, fun nod to a pilot whose impact goes far beyond the smoke trail.
