Cherry Bandit
It rolled out strong and hasn’t lifted the throttle since. Cherry bourbon sauce leads the charge, layered with brisket burnt ends, red onions, mozzarella, goat cheese, and one more pass of that signature drizzle to finish the move.
Orders have been stacking up, ovens staying busy, and it’s quickly become the special people are planning around instead of discovering by accident. Sweet, smoky, bold, and balanced, it pulls just enough Gs to keep things interesting without losing control.
It’s not leveling off anytime soon.
Flightline Safety
This week’s Barnstormer Bite features Bob DiMeo, someone I’ve gotten to know over the years at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. 2025 marked his 38th year volunteering on the flight line there.
If you’ve ever been to AirVenture or any airshow, you’ve seen volunteers like Bob everywhere. On the flight line, behind the ropes, guiding airplanes, answering questions, keeping things moving, and helping keep everyone safe. Most of the magic at these shows runs on people who show up year after year simply because they love aviation.
This one’s for the people in the vests who make the show happen.
Heart Shaped Pizza!
Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday, and we’re baking heart-shaped pizzas to mark the occasion.
Available as a small one-topping or a small Cherry Bandit, they’re the same pizzas you already love, just shaped for the weekend. Whether you’re planning a low-key dinner, feeding the kids something fun, or surprising someone who appreciates good pizza more than flowers, this is an easy way to make it feel a little different.
Hearts are available through Saturday.
The Crews Pick
The crew just came out of their busiest week ever, so I asked them what they’d like to make more of this week.
They said the sunshine is teasing them and they’re feeling the Flying Hawaiian.
So again this week, on behalf of the world’s best ground crew, take $5 off a large or small.
